LOOK 3:
YAY! An outfit without a skirt. I feel like that’s all I’ve been posting lately, but the weather has been truly warm and blissful. When I shot these photos, I was actually sweating because it was so warm. But hey, shiny – er, dewy – skin is a good thing, right? ;)
I finally got around to distressing these jeans (see before pic here). I had been putting it off because 1) I have a terrible time making decisions and 2) I knew it would be a time-consuming process involving tweezers and some sore muscles (from hunching over the project). But alas, I’ve got some good-looking distressing that doesn’t look too much like a home job. Extra thanks to my husband for hanging out and drinking wine with me while I tweezed away.
This poplin shirt is a new summer addition for me. I waited more than a month for Everlane to release them. You can’t see it too well in the photographs, but the top has lovely pinstripes. However, it’s the sleeves that I love. The wide hem detailing looks so good on!
LOOK 4:
It looks like I am starting to shake down a summer uniform of sorts, doesn’t it? Man, I’m going to be sad when the rain comes back and I have to revert back to jeans and boots again. Spring, you’re so fickle.
I thoroughly love this raw silk top from Jamie + the Jones. The only challenge I face is trying to find layers that work over it. The wider sleeves make it hard to wear with a cardigan or snug jacket.
This necklace is one of my favorite treasures, made by my friend Lauren of Loop Jewelry. She has kindly created a special discount for Seasons + Salt readers, check it out on the right-hand side bar! If you’re looking for this particular necklace, just send her a quick message and let her know.

Thanks so much Jodie! Happy weekend to you too!
Love both outfits! I have been looking at that everlane top. Can I ask what size you are wearing?
Hi Emily, my shirt is a size 6. :)
That raw silk top has such a beautiful drape. Lovely, as always!
Thank you Erin, it’s one of my favorites!
You are SLAYING this challenge Andrea! Love both these looks. Have a great weekend! xo
Thanks for the encouragement Lee, I am having a blast! Hope your weekend has been relaxing!
Great job on the jeans! Just the perfect amount of distressing and it totally brings something to the look! And that skirt is so perfect on you!
Thanks for pushing me to do it! I don’t think I would have otherwise!
I love the distressing! How did you do the hole on your left leg? That’s the one I can never seem to pull off — which is why my destroyed jeans always just have the knees ripped, haha!
And hooray for nailing spring/summer uniforms! Both looks have such an great + effortless feel to them. :) You’re getting me pumped to start sharing my 10×10 outfits!
Hey lady!! So, I did that hole very carefully, haha! I made about four parallel horizontal slits, and then slowly pulled out the blue threads in between the white threads with tweezers. To get the taper on the edges I made sure the the slits were at varying widths and I kind of brush back the threads with my fingers as I tweezed. Does that make sense?
