Guys! We are getting to the good stuff in this 30×30 challenge! It’s getting a little harder to stick to only 30 items, and now the real creativity is starting to kick in.
Last week Paige mentioned that she had to work through her obvious combinations before pushing herself to get more creative, and I can totally relate. I am currently looking a little closer at what I have and starting see new combinations and looks for the first time! Lee has been killing it with her combos, I really dug her stripes on black combo and she makes dusters look like the best spring layering option.
Here’s what I’ve been wearing….
DAY EIGHT:
I love how this look came together! Normally, I would have just reached for a cardigan to stay warm but, since I didn’t have that option with the 30×30 (the one I included was too sheer for this day), I utilized what I had. And it’s one of my favorite looks so far! The color palette is totally up my alley: two shades of soft blue, white, tan, cream, a hint of gray. All my favorite neutrals in one place.
I got a question on the last post about how linen looks after a full day, and I wanted to share with you guys a few more details. This is the second day in a row that I wore this shirt, and I did not iron it at all in-between wears. I took this photo at 3:42 PM and, as you can see, the linen looks great! It’s softened and has a gentle texture from being worn. That’s one of the things I love about linen – you can make it formal by ironing it to a crisp finish, or let it remain textured and casual. Additionally, I think this Salt Alta Top is less prone to wrinkles because of the shorter hemline.
Effortless Factor: 8 – I had to pull my top down a few times during the day when it drifted up a bit from the outer shirt.

DAY NINE:
I’ve had a lot of questions about the size and fit of my Kamm pants, and I thought I’d share a little bit more. I bought a size 8, which is up from my typical 6. I wanted to feel comfortable in the structured fabric, and the 6 was pretty darn hard to button up. After a few weeks of wear, these pants have loosened a bit and I think I could have probably gotten away with the 6. However, I plan to wear these mostly in the warmer months of the year and I think a loose(ish) fit might be more comfortable and appropriate. They do slide up my belly a bit when I sit down, so I am considering having them taken in at the waist just a touch.
I decided to take a stab at pairing these pants with a contrasting shade instead of the complementary shades I love so much, and I think this look came together nicely! We were headed to my younger daughter’s preschool graduation, and I wanted a more pulled-together look for the occasion so I added in a low-heeled shoe. Gosh, watching the little kiddos’ graduation ceremony was just the cutest thing ever. They walked in to the Star Wars theme music and out to Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling. By the time it was over, this mama couldn’t stop her feelings and they were welling up in my eyes and running down my cheeks. These milestones get me every time.
Effortless Factor: 9 – I really liked the shorter top with these pants, with no need to tuck in or worry about a knot (the one on this top stays firmly in place). I had to tug my pants down a few times, which is why I scored this a 9 instead of 10.

DAY TEN:
This look is my favorite from the round-up! It’s an outfit I feel quite proud of because it’s a self-demonstration that I’ve finally reached a place where I feel comfortable styling colors. I have lived in a strict neutral palette for the last few years. This is partly because I love neutrals, but also a little bit due to the fact that color combinations felt way harder to style. This palette came together easily and it’s one I feel proud of.
CARDIGAN: c/o IMBY, currently sold out (similar) | TOP: Miranda Bennett, currently sold out (same top white) my referral link for $20 off at Garmentory | PANTS: Elizabeth Suzann | SANDALS: c/o Avarcas Canada (US site)
Effortless Factor: 7 – Tucking in tops often feels fussy to me, but thankfully this one is soft and gauzy, which helped it stay in place.
DAY ELEVEN:
Today I really started to feel like I was hitting the boundaries of my 30 items. The weather has been consistently cold, and my thin sweater just isn’t cutting it. I swapped my REIFhaus jumpsuit for this one because it’s a bit longer in length. I wish I’d included a pullover sweater or another cardigan in my collection. If the weather doesn’t perk up soon, I might trade shorts for a second cardigan. That’s June in Oregon for you!
Effortless Factor: 8 – Each time I needed to use the restroom I had to take my jacket off to be able to take my jumpsuit off. Not terrible to deal with, but it leaves a few dings in the effortless meter.

Day 10 is my favorite! I love the color combination.
Thanks Leah, me too!! It’s been fun re-learning how to style color. :)
Day 8, 9 and 11 are SO GOOD!
I love double denim. Good reminder of me to wear mine when it cools down later this week. In the winter it’s mostly black jeans and chambray top but in summer I use white jeans and a chambray top ( I have 2 total, only my light denim one made it in my 30×30/ looks decent now that I am in my third trimester).
The last crescent necklace you keep wearing is now on my wish list. How does it handle moving around during the day? I know I asked you the length already, I might get the longer length since I am all torso lol.
Have a great week! Xo!
I really want to try white jeans, but I’m just too chicken! Do you ever get them dirty?
My crescent necklace is super light, and moves with me. Honestly, most of the time I forget it is there, it’s a great piece!
Hope you have a great week too!! :)
Oh on the white jeans thing I felt exactly the same way, then I stumbled across a distressed Levi’s pair that was more an ivory color. Somehow the heavey distressing makes me worry less about little marks here and there. I don’t think they will be my longest lasting pair of jeans ever, but I sure like them, and I think I might try dying them at some point if I get too many stains 😁
Great idea Tawny! And I think I know exactly the style you’re talking about. It’s a great compromise for white!
I love all of these looks Andrea! The double denim is perfect and I’m obsessed with the tie top with your Kamms, match made in heaven! Have a great week :) xo
Thank you friend! Denim always has my heart!
You are KILLING IT! Love Day 8 and 10! And I wear Day 11 about once per week :)
Ah, thanks Mel! Do you have the same jumpsuit? Do you ever style it with a belt or just loose?
Love these, as always. You CANNOT tell that you are feeling any limits, because these all seem like easy slam dunks. I’m a real necklace novice, but yours always look unfussy. What length are you wearing in the Loop necklace?
Hey girl! I am wearing the Loop necklace in 28″ …it’s such a chill necklace, probably why I wear it so much! Thanks for the nice compliment. I sometimes think I make better outfits when I starting feeling my limits because it forces more creativity. :) I am so happy you made an IG, btw! It has been fun to follow along. Jealous of your Veja sneaks.
Days 8 and 11 are my faves this week – I think it’s the easy neutral palette that’s anything but basic. I can’t wait to see how you start getting more creative with your remixing to find new combinations out of old pieces in the coming weeks!
xo
Thanks friend! Hopefully the heat will come back so I can wear the other half of my clothes!!
I love Day 10 as well – it’s my favorite of these! I have to say, I’m fascinated by the jumpsuit trend. I love the way they can be dressed up or down, and as long as it is tailored well, you’ll always look “put-together.” But – I’ve been a little hesitant to buy one because of having to pull it all the way down to use the restroom! I’m glad you say it’s an 8 in terms of effortlessness. I may have to give one a go!
Ha! The REIFhaus one is even easier to get on and off, that’s probably the easiest of the jumpsuits I’ve tried. No ties or fasteners, just pull up or down!
Love seeing the different ways you style the Hackwith Design jumpsuit! I’m wondering how has been to care for since it’s tencel & how does it run size wise? I have a couple outdoor summer weddings coming up & I think this piece may be a great fit!
Hi Cat, I find tencel VERY easy to care for. I just wash it on cold and line dry. I’ve used my steamer to get wrinkles out after washing, but you can also use an iron. For the most part the fabric doesn’t get as wrinkly as I expected it would through the day. Honestly, I think this would be a great piece for a wedding! I got a size Small, and I am typically a size 6/28, it’s a tad snug pulling it up over my bum, and I can’t wear it in reverse because it’s too tight on my collar bone. But I think the Medium might have been too big for me still, because it seems to be generously sized. Hope that helps! :)
Hi Andrea!
I was wondering how you like the Hackwith jumper after wearing it a few time? Pros, cons? I’m in between a few jumpers and am trying to narrow down my options!
Thank you!
Mary
Hi Mary! I still like it quite a bit! Most of the time I wear it loose rather than with the belt. I took a size Small, I am usually between S/M in brands. Sometimes it’s snug pulling on over my bum, and if I wear it with the V in back, the neckline doesn’t feel right. That said, I REALLY like it. It’s a great piece to dress up, and it’s super easy to wear casually as well. The fabric does a good job at resisting wrinkles as well. Also, I get lots of compliments on it!
