Hi friends, how are you doing today? I am reading the news closely and cannot stop thinking about the war currently underway in Ukraine. It’s unimaginable. I am watching closely and praying fiercely. While this space is typically focused on more lighthearted content, I want to acknowledge what is going on. If you are interested in donating, the UN Refugee Agency is a great option. I considered not publishing the Weekly Rundown but, after some thought, I decided to move forward with my regular content. Obsessing on the news all day is not healthy, so I offer you (and me!) some other food for thought.
It’s safe to say my uniform goals going into spring are: trousers and sneakers, in two iterations. ‘Neat’ trousers/sleek sneakers and oversized trousers/oversized sneakers. For the former, I love my Dream Pants and these chic velcro sneakers. For the oversized trousers I have pre-ordered the Way-High Pant in Sandstone, and I fiiiiiinally ordered myself a pair of New Balance sneakers. Will report back soon.
These baggy straight jeans just hopped on my spring wish list. I am pretty eager to get my hands on an ultra loose fit pair of jeans and these might just fit the bill.
Annnnd, I want black, flare jeans too. These are so cute. Just add a woven belt!
