I have pants on the brain lately. I recently bought this plaid style, but after much feedback on Instagram decided they were too big (they run a full size + big). Now these gorgeous pants by Free Label (pictured above) have caught my eye and I’m intrigued! I love the longer inseam, and the fabric which is made of linen/tencel and cupro! Sounds like a trifecta. (Their winter collection launches 11/24.)
Also on the topic of pants, I’m highly considering these even though my two BFF’s hate them. Do you ever go against your close friends’ consensus when choosing clothes?
I’m hooked on a new podcast. Have you guys heard of the Holy Post Podcast? It’s a multi-view approach to faith, politics and pop culture.
I just bought this advent book after seeing someone share about it online. It sounds like just what I need right now. I am reading it with a few friends over the month of December and I can’t wait to dive in!
A Thanksgiving perspective and Reclaiming Black Friday. If you only read one thing on this rundown, pick this one.
9 Things to Do After Thanksgiving Besides Shop, this is an oldie, but a goodie. Most of these still work even while staying at home.
My friend Katelyn recently shared an awesome holiday gift guide featuring ethical, sustainable, BIPOC/woman owned businesses!
The one thing on my Black Friday shopping list. Not sure if there’s going to be a sale, but waiting just in case!
My Dear Frances boots, that so many of you guys have asked me about, are 25% off! This is the biggest discount I’ve ever seen on them.
I am for sure making another squash salad for our Thanksgiving dinner. Last year I made this one, and I’m debating trying out one with goat cheese dressing this year.
If I had a personal pastry chef I’d request they make these chocolate bourbon pecan pie cupcakes. (Too many steps for me, but YUM!)
I hope you guys have a safe and lovely Thanksgiving.
I know they’re being artsy in the Ace & Jig product photos, but I’m not likely to style the pants topless, so it’s not great from an inspiration perspective, lol.
Thanks for sharing my post!
HAHA!! Good point Leah. My daughters were so shocked and appalled at those photos. They were like, “but, why??” Hehe. They’re 11 and 9. As always Leah, I love your thoughtful content.
I think you could pull off those pants with maybe a black sweater and clogs?
Thanks Lauren! I think they would be cute with white converse too! And a jean jacket or a sweatshirt… or even a black blazer!
