CURRENTLY WEARING: Full Length Pants

Will we see the return of full length, non-skinny pants in the next few years? That’s the question on the mind of those of us who like to follow fashion. I think the answer is yes. I am starting to see it a little more, and I am starting to like it a little bit more on myself.

I wore these the pants during the spring and summer, and their full length was easy to pull off with sandals and mules. I thought I’d have to retire them for the cold months, but on a whim decided to try and style them.

Yesterday, when I was trying to figure out what to wear, I turned to ever-trustworthy Pinterest for a little help. (Side note: yes this outfit is from yesterday, but I liked it so much I decided I had to photograph it to share. Monday outfits can be a snoozefest anyway!) Thankfully Pinterest produced something good before I even had to scroll. As soon as I saw this my creative juices were flowing. I didn’t try and replicate the look per se, but was definitely inspired to pull together something similar.

I loved wearing this, and I enjoyed my pants in their full-length glory. Going into the fall I had considered chopping a few inches off the hem, and I’m so glad I didn’t.

  1. Yes please. The cropped look is only designed for moderate climates and is completely useless in places where winter is a thing. Snow and expose ankles do not mix.

  2. Hi! Love the outfit! Do you mind telling me which Mother jeans they are? The link takes me to the home page.
