In a matter of twenty-four hours fall arrived in Portland, and with gusto. On Friday afternoon it was hot and sunny, and by Saturday morning it was 60 degrees and raining. I don’t think she’s here to stay just yet, but it made for an interesting few days of getting dressed.

On Thursday warmth was still in the forecast, so I decided to go for a non-jeans outfit while I could. The loose sweater over the full skirted dress is a fun combination. Love these flats and excited to bring them back now that the weather is cooling a bit.

Doing my best to use a coffee cup as a tripod in the backyard of my aunt and uncle’s house. Of course I would only do this when nobody was home. Loved this outfit. See a closeup here.
Was headed to an evening event, so I snagged a jacket and changed my shoes. Will 100% wear this again (even if I have to wait all year).

It was ultra cool on Sunday so mockneck and cotton-canvas jacket it was. I liked this one even better than Friday’s outfit. I am trying to make a point to enjoy wearing light jackets while I can, because soon it will be wool and parkas.
