the Weekly Rundown: Why ‘Unplugging’ is Good for Your Health + the Perfect Vintage Denim Replica

Seasons and salt blog

LIFE + MINIMALISM:

Did you know that constantly being ‘plugged in’ makes it more difficult to manage stress? Here are several reasons why unplugging is essential to a healthy life.

How to deal with sentimental clutter. The best tips I’ve read to date.

IN THE KITCHEN:

The weather has been decidedly cooler lately, so I’m making my favorite lentil soup for dinner this week.

But, I’m not ready to say bye to summer yet, and I think rosé sangria might be the perfect farewell toast.

STYLE:

I recently updated my collections page over at Everlane. I have had the privilege of working with the brand as an affiliate for the past few years. This means I’ve had access to a lot of what they offer through press samples. Those combined with my own purchases mean I’ve had hands-on experience with almost all of the items I’ve placed in the collection. If you have a question about something, feel free to let me know!

ESBY has released their pre-fall collection and, while the prairie dresses are super fun, their new Lindsey Jean looks like the perfect vintage denim replica!

ON S+S:

Last week I shared my fall mood board. It’s super interesting to look back and compare it to the one I put together two years ago.

  1. Did you get a sample of the Everlane straight crop pants? I haven’t seen any bloggers reviewing them, but they are apparently a best seller! I’d love to see what they look like styled!

    1. Hi Lexie, I did not! They look cute though. I imagine they are pretty similar in fit to the wide leg crops, but with narrower leg openings.
