Is it the end of the summer as we know it? We never really know around here, in the PNW. Often, fall comes in a day. But this year summer started late, so I am crossing my fingers for a warm and dry September. Heck, I’ll even take a cool and dry September. Mostly, I’d love a few more weeks of blue skies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here’s a look at some of the outfits I wore over the last two weeks, including shorts, dresses, skirts and pants. Basically, everything but jeans!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love the color of this dress and how soft it is but, I’ll admit, it’s a little hard to wear. I bought a strapless bra at the beginning of the summer and, while it’s very good, wearing it for an entire day is rarely comfortable. I bought those Nippies<\/a> that everyone talks about, and they don’t work well for me, I need existing support in my garment for them to work I think. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I shared this outfit on Instagram, I got so many DMs about these pants! I should have known $50 Zara pants would be what everyone would get excited about. They are stretchy, which makes them very comfortable, but you have to be careful with any bulk from tucked in shirts or undergarments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m trying to find my own style of business casual outfits. I like the idea of pushing ‘norms’ a bit and styling dressy looks with sneakers, or something unexpected. Feeling more ‘myself’ in an outfit helps me feel grounded when taking on new tasks that push me out of my comfort zone.<\/strong> Here, I loved the masculine feel of the shirt and sneakers paired with the feminine skirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think this is the third time I’ve worn almost this exact outfit and I have no qualms about that. Outfit repeating makes life simpler. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think this is the moment I officially started to get a little bored with my summer clothing! I’d say making it to the end of August equals a pretty good run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are starting to enter pre-fall, with chilly morning temps and hot ones by afternoon. I don’t mind because it’s a chance to pair unexpected combinations like sweaters and shorts. I love the color on this cardigan, more bold than I usually go for, but I felt very drawn to it. And in case you were wondering, these were the ONLY jean shorts I wore this summer. I did not stray from them once!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
