Some days are 70 degrees F and sunny, while others are full of rain, clouds, and chilly temps. Naturally, this makes getting dressed a bit of a challenge. To make things easier, I&#8217;ve brainstormed and pulled together some simple spring staples from Everlane that make sense for a variety of spring days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve spent seven years at this blogging and styling gig, and I&#8217;ve learned a lot about what goes into putting together a good outfit. The biggest factor: interesting items that stand alone on their own. Aka, they aren&#8217;t just interesting in the outfit, but they make the outfit interesting because the item itself is well made, unique, interesting and thoughtful. A lightweight jacket in a beautiful, subtle hue is just my jam for spring. This aptly named Bay Leaf color was on my wish list last spring, and I love the way it looks with light colored jeans or pants, and how nicely it contrasts with dark colors I wear. It&#8217;s a fresh and fun way to add variety to everyday outfits. This &#8216;typical&#8217;, button up shirt is a whole lot more interesting with a cropped hemline (featuring a subtle u-shape!) in the back. This looks great buttoned up or worn open over a tank or tee. I opted for a version with soft stripes, but I think this top would look equally great in white. It&#8217;s an interesting take on a cropped pant, a little more style-conscious than a cropped straight leg or kick flare. This one is a little more bold to pull off but, again, it&#8217;s these subtle details that make an overall outfit feel more interesting. And as barrel-legs go, these pants are a pretty chill version so the style curve isn&#8217;t as steep. These give me big time 90&#8217;s vibes. Like, I can remember my childhood more clearly when I see these jeans. The light wash, the loose leg, the intact hemline. These shorts have. flare, nostalgia and interest in one compact package. They will look great with tanks and dad sandals all summer long.
