Do you ever have items in your closet that feel like old friends? The kind you reach for over and over because they are comfortable on your body, and they make you feel good when you wear them (and they go with everything)? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today I have a review post for you guys, featuring a few items from one of my longtime favorite labels, ABLE. This includes one item that’s been an old friend in my closet for some time now, their distressed denim jacket. I’m also reviewing a beautiful, puff-sleeved top and a pair of earrings I just got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sharing all three of these today because I think they are great for now<\/em> (summer weather) and will also be awesome for later<\/em> when the weather cools!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Merly Jacket<\/a> is different from most other denim jackets I’ve tried because it’s made from soft, non-stretchy, almost drapey material. It’s 75% cotton and 25% lyocell, the latter is what makes it so soft! Naturally, this is the number one reason why I love it, it just feels good to wear. It’s so comfortable and not restricting at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The jacket is also unique in that the fit is oversized, but it drapes kind of close to the body (thanks to the fabric!). That means the overall look of it is relaxed\/casual but still feminine. It’s truly different from any other jean jacket I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot!). I’ve found this shape and fit pairs well with a variety of outfit styles, which I love. Judging from the photos above, I tend to wear it the most with wide leg pants! I also like the jacket with jeans and over dresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was drawn to this jacket because of the distressing, it gives it a lot of character, and makes me feel a little bit more cool and chill than I am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am wearing a medium in the Merly Jacket<\/a> (my go-to size for most items from a variety of brands), and the fit is just a touch oversized and I love it. If you click on ‘Size Guide’ on the jacket listing, you can see two different sizes on the same person, side-by-side to get a better idea of the fit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
