I have been wanting a pair of Everlane&#8217;s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Modern Loafers (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+NIbjDu7l1SI8Fu3Ucq0MJg\" target=\"_blank\">Modern Loafers<\/a> for <em>years<\/em>. I lusted after them for a long time. And then, in 2015, I bought them in two sizes and they still didn&#8217;t fit (they squeezed my toes too much). End of sad story. The loafers and the jean jacket feel very throwback to me but the color of the top and wash of the jeans are decidedly modern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m thrilled that Everlane has incorporated new warm tones into their fall color palette. In the past, their colors have been cool, or the wrong warm tone for me. Here I&#8217;m wearing the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Short-Sleeve Turtleneck  (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+eIT6RW1IJT3lfZ0o07MvKA\" target=\"_blank\">Short-Sleeve Turtleneck<\/a> in Cider, and it&#8217;s a beautiful warm orangey-brown shade that&#8217;s rich, but not too bright.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, in case you missed it, Everlane released a new style of jeans last week, the <a href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+W4bVmIOXlpWtJxp4R0e2xg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Cheeky Bootcut (opens in a new tab)\">Cheeky Bootcut<\/a>. I shared quite a bit about them in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"this post (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.seasons-and-salt.com\/2019\/08\/12\/5556-99-a-bootcut-jeans-kind-of-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a>, but suffice to say, I&#8217;m a fan. Several people commented that they&#8217;re pretty narrow in the leg for a bootcut, and I agree. They are almost like a baby boot, definitely nowhere near a flare. I love them because the fit is great, especially through the hips and thigh, and the waist is nice and high. They make me feel relaxed! I don&#8217;t wear a ton of silk, in fact this is one of only two in my closet. But the front pockets piqued my interest and the <em>washable<\/em> factor sealed the deal. I love the soft texture and the drape of this shirt. It would probably look awesome if you sized up and went for an oversized look too. This color is definitely up my alley, just like the turtleneck top in the previous outfit, it&#8217;s a warm tone, but still muted enough to work with my natural coloring (I tend to look overwhelmed in bright colors). It also comes in four other colors (Black, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Bone (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+T_Y9hyopPzzFHvkzcMRuZQ\" target=\"_blank\">Bone<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Blue-Grey (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+r0DfXIjZM7SqSi26-6N6MQ\" target=\"_blank\">Blue-Grey<\/a> and <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Covert Green (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/rstyle.me\/+yl7CD_uNvxBgqa8mZ0Am4w\" target=\"_blank\">Covert Green<\/a>) and I think the Bone would make a great candidate for a #stickofbutter look!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Styling button up tops can be tricky. They often make me feel like I&#8217;m &#8216;headed to the office.&#8217; To keep this one casual and cool I paired it with relaxed fit wide leg pants, which are pretty laid-back looking, and a playful, woven bag. I saw the items laying together and knew it would be really cute! This look isn&#8217;t super styled, but it&#8217;s a perfect example of the kind of outfit I wear all the time: simple, but interesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously, I&#8217;m a fan of this top, I have it in two colors. It&#8217;s a fantastic update on a basic tee &#8211; just as easy and comfortable, but a little more styled. Pairing it with the light wash, 90&#8217;s style jeans is contrasty and interesting. And finishing the look with these croc style loafers is the icing on top! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A quick note on fit and sizing of these loafers. I took them in my usual Everlane size and they felt great out of the box.
