This outfit isn’t terribly glamorous, but it’s terribly realistic for the rainy fall we’re currently facing in the Northwest. I think we kissed 80-degree days goodbye last week and are now facing significantly lower highs. Time for crock pot dinners and dark evenings.
I’d say this outfit is the fall version of my morning uniform. It’s just so chilly in the mornings, all I want are cozy clothes. This sweater is starting to get embarassingly shabby, but there are no holes, and I still like it, so on it goes. I wont tell you where I bought it, but I am pretty sure it was one of the last fast fashion purchases I made.
I’ve been asked a few times about what the rain coverage is like on this Everlane Anorak, and I find it quite functional. I definitely wouldn’t wear it in a full-on, Oregon rainstorm though. It’s good for about light to medium rain. My favorite features are the length and how packable it is. Mine is from last season, but I might like this year’s even better.

I’m still enjoying my cropped flares (last seen here and here) they are the perfect rebellion to my calf-hugging skinnies. I was careful to crop them long enough so I might still get away with wearing them in the cooler months, perhaps with increased length and thickness of socks. Only time will tell. Maybe I need to get those crazy Converse that go all the way up to my knees. I kid. Maybe I need to go on a shopping ban. I kid?
Peace out,
Andrea
