A striped shirt and a wide leg is a longtime, marine-inspired classic combination. I didn’t even realize that until after I had taken the photographs. Add a trench coat and we have an outfit comprised of the classics! But in my case, I have denim instead of trousers (usually my preference) and my sneakers have a slight platform to them. (And in case you are tracking my trench coats closely, I bought and tried a beautiful one from COS, but for now have decided to stick with this thrifted one.)
