Today’s outfit is styled with spring outerwear *and* what I’m actually wearing for winter. Hence the whole: spring vs. winter. But first, the jeans. Day two styling these and I like them much better. Though they do read a bit as skinny jeans, which I feel mixed about. I think the error in styling from the previous day was definitely the sock/shoe choice. These work better with a boot or a bare ankle.

If it were warm enough, I’d top this outfit with my favorite linen duster. I got this last year at the start of the pandemic, so I have hardly worn it. I can’t wait to wear it loads this spring and summer. Maybe I’ll build a spring uniform around trenches and dusters… But alas, it was still cool enough to need something heavier, so instead I finished this outfit with a chunky, cropped-ish wool sweater.
