I am one year late to the soft pants party. I spent the first year of Covid trying to feel normal so I kept wearing my jeans all the time. This winter I am very interested in soft pants and trousers. I bought these in the summer but quickly realized their merino fabric made them perfect for winter wearing too (especially if you have a long coat). While these are decidedly loungey, I can often pull them off in a very outfit-ish way. On my short list for the near future: actual (soft and big) trousers.
