This fall my oldest transferred to a middle school closer to home, and one of my favorite ways to get to know the students and staff is volunteering for lunch duty. I am very thankful she wants me there! This year, the kids are eating mostly outdoors to keep Covid transmission at bay, so dressing warmly is key. Last week, this is what I donned for lunch duty and my faithful Babaa really did it’s job keeping me, my neck and even my wrists warm! Luckily for me, I have a few coats that fit comfortably over the very oversized sweater.
