I almost didn’t pair the ruffle shoulders with the overalls but I decided the simple color palette toned down the semi-bold look. Sometimes subtracting things – in this case color – from an outfit can be just as important as adding them. I like the way the dark brown boots add a layer of interest without breaking up the all-dark look of the lower half of the outfit.
