Basics: Not Exciting but Very Rewarding
Certain items in my closet are ‘sleeper’ items. Meaning they’re super plain and simple, but their power is unlocked with the right pairing or styling. This sweater is a fine example of that. When I got it last fall, I felt a little stumped on how to make it interesting. But then I realized it is a piece of the puzzle of an interesting outfit, a supporting member of the cast if you will. It’s been a go-to for me this spring because it’s classic, universal, warm, and layers well with many shapes and shades.
