Special thanks to PACT for sponsoring this post. Read on to find out what I love about this brand, and how their clothes are good for your body and the earth!
Going for a weekend walk and don’t know what to wear? Or maybe you’re headed to a kids’ soccer match… or a quick run over to the local coffee shop… maybe a Sunday morning farmers market, and what on earth do you wear? A styled outfit feels like a bit ‘too much’ and gosh, wearing your workout clothes might feel NSFP (not sufficient for public!) or a bit too athletic for the occasion (I mean, which shoes do you wear with your workout clothes if you’re wearing them out and about?). These are all questions I’ve asked myself more than once.
One brand proposes a solution. Pact wants to style you and me for the inbetween, when we’re not working and not working out. They offer the answer for ‘what to wear’ for life’s little moments. They’ve built their line up with organic cotton, easy-to-wear, mix and match casual clothing and undergarments.
3 Quick Facts to Know About Pact:
1 // Everything starts with GOTS-certified organic cotton. I love this. That means it contains zero pesticides, toxic chemicals or GMOS. I think this is super important, especially for items so close to our bodies like undies and under shirts. GOTS-certified organic cotton also uses 81% less water than conventionally farmed cotton.
2 // They use Fair Trade Certified factories for their supply chain. This means everything is milled and made in places that are held to a rigorous standard for safe working conditions, environmental protection, additional funds are allocated to empower and uplift local communities, and more. This should be industry standard but it isn’t. I believe, as more brands value these things, more light will be shed on these issues.
3 // In addition to their extensive men’s and women’s underwear lines they now offer a full apparel line up. On the women’s side, there are sweaters, jumpsuits, dresses and more. Lots of great casual wear for men and they even have cute kids’ clothes too. AND – they offer bath and bedding options, aka sheets and towels, all of which are GOTS-certified organic. Any place we can eliminate toxic pesticides on our bare skin is a win for me.

Speaking of bare skin, I am currently testing out two styles of organic cotton underwear from Pact: the Lace-Waist Brief and the Lace-Waist Thong. Both are very comfortable. The briefs have a generous cut on the backside, which means they cover more of my bum, instead of cutting through the middle like a cheeky style, and this results in way less of a VPL situation. AND they feel great to wear.

This month, PACT released a brand new ribbed collection, including a cropped rib top, bike shorts and leggings! They are so cotton-y and soft, it kind of feels like wearing pajamas! But a little more polished of course. In addition to black all three come in Clay, Ore and Chocolate. Note: the leggings are expended to release in March: sign up to be notified here.

I look forward to lounging in these items this spring! My ideal weekend would include wearing this set and throwing on a big, white button-up shirt, sitting on my back deck in the sun sipping coffee. (Does anyone else have spring fever?)
And, while it’s still chilly, here is my new unofficial weekend uniform (I wore this two days in a row after the items first arrived, no joke!):

I am wearing the Fisherman Tunic Sweater, made from 100% organic cotton and the Ribbed Leggings, made with organic cotton and elastane. I love that these leggings are cozy and warm, without a hint of shiny spandex look. And they pass the squat test. You can see the thick, comfortable waistband in the photo below. I have found it stays in place quite well without any rolling.

BUT THIS SWEATER THOUGH. I am thrilled to finally find a sweater long enough to wear with leggings. I love that it covers my bum, and the side vent keeps it feeling casual and a little bit edgy. The oversized fit is just right, it’s super cozy and the wide sleeves add a touch of chic. Perfect for lounging but still feeling pulled together.

As always, thank you guys for supporting brands who are doing their part to drive change in sustainable and ethical fashion. Pact is putting forth some of the most considered efforts I have seen, and I am thrilled to share their message with you. I look forward to continuing to support the brand, including buying their towels and linens as I try and incorporate more organic cotton into my household.
Fellow Oregonian here. Thanks for the great post about Pact. I just ordered your sweater in grey. I can’t wear wool (even cashmere) so finding an affordable, well made cotton sweater was super exciting! Thank you!
Woohoo! I am so glad Robyn! I hope this one is a homerun for you. I love the wearability of cotton, it’s good almost year-round! And no pills!
Hi again – Got my sweater today and have already worn it. I chose the Charcoal Heather and it is amazing! Thank you again for posting about this company!
Woohoo! This makes me so happy to hear! Thanks for following up Robyn!
