I’ve decided to start carrying my umbrella around everywhere with me. I bought a small black one so it’s easy to keep in the door of my car and grab when I need it. This allows me the freedom to wear the full range of my favorite wool coats! For some reason, I have an aversion to most technical outdoor wear (unless I am participating in actual winter sports), so being able to wear a wool coat on a cold wet day instead of my rain jacket brings me a bit of sunshine. It makes the unpleasant weather, just a bit more pleasant.
