I’ve been feeling a bit like I’m in a style rut. Fall often does that to me. All I want is to be warm and then I end up reaching for the same clothes everyday. So yesterday afternoon I spent some quality time trying on things from my closet and styling different items together, specifically various styles of jeans, jackets and shoes. I came up with several combinations I loved and came away feeling creatively recharged and invigorated. If clothing is a creative outlet for us (it is for me), I am realizing we must dedicate time to allow ourselves to create. I don’t have time in the mornings when I’m getting dressed, so periodically setting aside other brainstorm time is extremely helpful. And guess what? I am wearing this outfit in real time, today. :)
