It’s really hard to tell from the photos, but these pants are actually a dusty pink shade! Often when I get dressed, I pick an item I know I want to wear and build around it. On this day it was these pants, which stumped me at first. I tried on several different things before I landed on this outfit… and settled into the idea that light, dusty pink acts like a neutral. I think it’s way too easy to overthink a super subtle shade. But if we treat it like a neutral, the styling comes together a lot more easily and it makes a more interesting outfit!
