What does one do when huddled down in the middle of a winter storm that’s blasting your entire country? Dream of spring of course. If you haven’t learned this about me yet, I’m a mega daydreamer. I love to live in my head and dream about things that make me happy. Right now that’s sunny days and lighter clothing!
4 Spring Items I Can’t Wait to Wear Again
1 // Woven Mules – (c/o Nisolo) I got these right when the pandemic started, and because we spent most of spring and summer at home, I feel like I barely wore them. I love what a woven shoe will do for an outfit, it brings a sense of depth, color and texture. This particular pair is nearly out of stock, but I believe they are restocking in April. I also super love this pair, it’s been on my watch list for a few years!
2 // Romantic Blouses – Ah yes, my favorite thing about spring? Soft, romantic blouses! I have a few favorite white ones that I can’t wait to wear. Most of them are no longer in stock but I’ll link some pretty ones down below!

3 // Distressed Denim Jacket, (c/o ABLE from a Spring 2019 partnership) – I haven’t featured this one on the blog a lot in the last year, but it’s still one of my very favorites. It’s super soft and I love the distressing. This spring I expect to be more in a rhythm of wearing and sharing regular outfits again. So I fully intend to wear the heck out if it when it warms up. 4 // Linen Pants – there are few pieces of clothing that communicate the bliss of warmer months better than linen pants. Add big voluminous legs and an elastic waistband, and you have a summer cocktail in a pair of pants. My favorite pair are the Cove Pants from Only Child. I love the high waist, long inseam, and of course the pockets!
Items on My Spring Wishlist

I can feel my style turning an interesting corner right now. I am not quite sure how to explain it. I feel like I’ve stopped holding back and am doubling down on the things that make me happy (distressed denim, edgy items, and of course, the color brown). I suspect this might have to do with spending a little less time on Instagram and more time on Pinterest. Here are a few items currently on my wishlist for the coming season.
Brown Floral Jane Top – I love the 70’s vibe going on with the colors of this top. The Jane blouse has a great shape, big, soft, flowy. I have another one in my closet that’s a few years old and every time I wear it, I feel like I am wearing something special
Cowboy Jean in Chocolate – These are the pants that almost got away! I ordered these a few weeks back from Shopbop, but they were too small, and they quickly sold out. I noticed earlier this week Reformation brought them back in stock, so I jumped on them, in a size up.
Distressed Dee Shorts – I have been around the block with this exact pair of shorts in that I tried them two years ago and returned them. However, I love them so much that I am going to try again in a size up for a looser leg fit. After reading the online reviews this feels like a smart strategy!
Tread Clogs, but make them sandals – I have it on good authority that No.6 is releasing a lug sole style clog sandal next month. That’s all I know but I am definitely keeping an eye out for this one!!
Black Vintage or Vintage Inspired Tee – I would love to find a super cool old one with wolves howling at the moon. I’ve been keeping an eye on Etsy. I also love the Anine Bing one pictured above as well as a few past Anine Bing styles. And I recently came across this non-distressed one and I’m keeping it on my short list!
Distressed White Jeans – I can’t explain this one, but I can feel it in my lizard brain. I love this take on white jeans. Feels fresh and fun.
Alright, that’s all I have for today. Thanks for taking a stroll down spring dreaming lane with me. If you’re thinking about spring, I’d love to hear what’s on your wishlist!

Love this inspo, fellow dreamer here! And I agree about less time on Instagram allowing me to really appreciate MY style instead of admiring everyone else’s!
I didn’t even make the connection until I sat down to write this post. It’s interesting how admiration can shift to being influenced really fast!
I have the Nisolo mules and Dee shorts and I have had them for a few years and they’re still two of my absolute favorites! I did size up one in the Dee shorts! I’m also dreaming of feminine blouses and I after getting an Anine Bing sweatshirt, I definitely want a tee for spring and summer! Also, I am suuuch an in-my-head, dreamer too! I am excited thinking about spring fashion!
We are style twins! I can’t wait to see how you style and wear your Dee shorts when the weather warms up!
1. Now the cove pants are on MY list and 2. I also want a Bing tee and am constantly trying to find an alternative. If you find the vintage tee treasure trove on Etsy please share!!
Haha, they are great pants Rebecca! I do love my bing sweatshirt a lot!! I love some of the tees too. As far as Etsy, sometimes when I find a vintage item i like, I click on the shop and then I find a bunch more cool stuff that would be hard to find by searching. That’s my best tip LOL.
