Please pardon the Legos and purse strap in the background. Apparently, I was in too much of a hurry to deal with those. This beautiful outfit only lasted for a few minutes. Yesterday was pretty darn hot, but I had this top on for sharing via Instagram (you can see the stories under my Everlane highlights), and I loved this combo so I wanted to share it here.
This is the new Collarless Air Shirt from Everlane (in Tortoise Shell). It’s kind of similar to the Air Ruched Blouse but it has buttons and is less oversized. I am fan-girling over this color and the puffed sleeves. It’s a soft, lightweight fabric and it tucks easily into a high waist, and would work well from front-tucking on a midrise.

Easy Short (M), Hackwith Design House
Day Crossover Sandal (10.5), c/o Everlane

Stella the dog says hi. I felt slightly like a zookeeper in the outfit, but I texted my friends a pic and they said it was cute. I promise I’m 36 not 16.
Today ended up being a weird 3-outfit day, but this was the one I photographed. Later in the day I got butter on my shorts while frying an egg (boo!) so I had to change. And then I washed the car, so I changed again. Just call me laundry lady.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
The Friend (S), c/o Power of My People
Easy Chino Short (6), c/o Everlane
Woven Sandal (10), Mohinders
