The Easiest Place for Holiday Shopping

Every year, December feels like the fastest month. We all seem to look forward to this time of year, but POOF! It zips by so fast. The season passes even more quickly when we are extra busy. So, I hope this blog post saves you some time. I’m sharing three handy holiday gift guides to the store that seems to have everything – Dick’s Sporting Goods.

This post is in partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods, a store that just might surprise you!

Our family recently went to Dick’s and knocked out a TON of our Christmas shopping. Yes, we took the kids, because I am the type that likes to employ my kids’ help for Christmas gifts. I like to get a gauge for what they actually like, and what actually fits them. We’ve reached the stage where shoes and clothes are at the top of their lists and it’s just easier this way. I don’t actually tell them what I’m buying most of the time though, I still try to keep some things a surprise!

These are the items my kids loved, and some of them even came home with me. (Don’t tell my kids if you know them IRL!). I’m really impressed with the quality of clothing and brands Dick’s now carries including Dr. Martens, Birkenstocks, Free People, Patagonia and more.

1. Pickleball set! – We live by some tennis courts and pretty much every sunny day there are people there playing pickleball. I’ve never done it, but it looks so fun.

2. FIFA World Cup soccer ball – Do you have any soccer players in the house? We have two!

3. Double Zip Dr. Martens – My middle picked these out for her Christmas gift. She has impeccable taste!

4. DSG Clothing Line – This line up is fantastic for kids, it’s hard to beat the quality and price point. I got this shirt for my son to layer under all his t-shirts (it’s cold here!). It has a soft, fleecy inside which he really likes. This one would be great for layering under soccer jerseys too.

5. Flannel Pajama Pants – Have you visited a middle school lately? You probably saw lots of flannel pajama pants. That’s what the kids are wearing these days and they all look super cute! I particularly like this pair because they represent my favorite college.

6. Crocs – More teenage style, enough said.

7. Jordan Hoodie – Alright, this is my pick. I love the colors on this one. Nike is crushing it with the designs lately!

8. Nike Court Borough Sneakers – I love these because they’re almost dead ringers for Dunks and Jordans, but on a kid-friendly budget. I ordered these orange ones for my son. (I think functional Christmas gifts are my favorite!)

And one more item that I ran out of room to add in my graphic: a ping pong table! It’s my hope to add one to our garage someday soon so the kids have a place to congregate with their friends as they get older. We already have a TV and couch in there. My goal is to be a parent who welcomes teens as much as possible so they have a fun, safe place to hang out.

1. We are big Patagonia fans in this house. Their jackets are amazing! This work-style jacket caught my eye and my husband loves these midweight flannel shirts.

2. Customized Golf Balls – What a creative idea for the golfer on your list. A fun way for them to feel loved every time they hit the links.

3. Carhart Beanies – We *all* have these (my daughter has two!) and we love them. They are not too hot and not too cool, but *just right.*

4. Rough Cut Bifold Wallet – Classic and durable. An excellent gift for an excellent price!

5. Dumbbells – We have shopped at Dick’s many times over the years to slowly expand our garage gym. We have two Fitness Gear Barbells, various dumbbells, and most recently bought a Fitness Gear rack to store our weight plates and dumbbells.

6. Yeti Mugs – This is our go-to coffee mug brand of choice for coffee on the go. It’s hard to beat how warm this puppy keeps our java.

And finally, gifts for her! While we were shopping this week, I was pretty preoccupied with helping the kids, but I did manage to spy some items I loved.

1. Free People Fleece – This one has been on my list ever since I saw my friend Paige’s and tried on my friend Jaana’s. It is beyond warm!! This is the one I had my eye on, but I ended up getting this one, a pullover style that I like a little better.

2. Stanley Ice Flow Tumbler – I bought this a few weeks back after seeing my same aforementioned friends with it. (Influencers influencing influencers?) And it’s the best water bottle I’ve ever used! No joke. I also have the 40 oz. Stanley, and I much prefer this one! The straw is excellent for a fold down, and the 30 oz. size is just right for being on the go.

3. Long Shacket – This is a great option if you don’t want to splurge on the Aritzia version. I love the length and color.

4. Nike Blazer 77 – My husband just got a pair of these and they are so cool. I love that Nike is embracing throwback styles.

5. Fitbit Activity Tracker – I love using a tracker to count my steps and time my breaks during my morning training sessions.

6. Quilted Travel Tote – This is a great option for quick weekend trips, or a great mom-tote to catch all the things on a day of running errands!

In case you didn’t know, Dick’s offers free, one-hour pickup, which is incredibly convenient! We used it the other day to get my daughter some shoes in a pinch for her indoor soccer league. It’s super easy to do through the website or app.

Thanks so much for reading along. I hope this helps you easily find some Christmas gifts for loved ones on your list. I’ll be back next week with a What I Wore post from my new OOTD location!!
