It’s been a busy week around these parts with school, sports and work schedules, but I’ve managed to squeeze out a few outfits. It’s amazing how, when you’re busy and mostly at home, putting together a nice (or even decent!) outfit falls low on the priority list. Don’t be fooled by the images above, I did not wear these, they are Sézane try-ons! More on that down below.
My schedule hasn’t demanded much ‘dressing for work’ yet, but I’m still keeping that top of mind when shopping or thinking about future outfits. For now, here’s a look at what I’ve been wearing this week.
I chose this sweater from Everlane last month because I felt very drawn to the ‘golden palm’ color, and I’ve already worn it a surprising number of times. It adds a great pop of color to all my favorite neutrals, and makes my outfits feel a bit more ‘finished.’

Sweater, c/o
Tee
Overalls (S)
Libby Sneakers, c/o Freda Salvador
Hello haircut! It took me a few days to figure out how to style this cut and, after 48 hours of mild panic, I’m really enjoying it!
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Top, old (similar, love this option!)
Jeans (27), c/o Madewell
Brooke Rain Resistant Boots, c/o Freda Salvador – Use code ANDREAFF20 to get 20% through 9/25
This was my favorite look from the week! 100% inspired by the latest J.Crew catalog that I rescued from my junk mail pile. It’s chock full of preppy-90’s influences, and I love it. Reminds me of J.Crew from my high school days. Olympia Gayot is the new-ish head of women’s design at J.Crew and I think she’s killing it lately.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Gaspard Jumper (S), c/o Sézane
Tee
Jeans, vintage
Loafers, Reformation
Bag
I ended up changing my shirt because it kept coming untucked. It might be time to edit this one out of my closet. I’m trying to stop making space for fussy items because they get worn so infrequently because fussy items make me feel fussy!
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Blouse, old (similar here)
Jeans (sized up)
Libby Sneakers, c/o Freda Salvador

Sézane Try-Ons!
I’m so thrilled to be taking part in a Sézane gifting campaign, which means I get a little bit of credit to order some new items each month. I have been really impressed with the quality of everything I’ve tried. Sézane is a great place to shop if you’re looking to build a professional wardrobe that is interesting and creative. And it’s a great place to shop if you’re looking to add some spice and vibrancy to your closet. They have lots of beautiful silhouettes, colors and fabrics.
The Simon Jumper (M) – This one I actually bought. I am so drawn to this color! I styled it here with jeans, but I am envisioning wearing it with big trousers when I need a business casual outfit. Paired with: relaxed bootcut jeans (sized up to fit my quads) and Agathea Chunky Loafers.
The Lauretta Dress (US6), (gifted) – This one is almost sold out, but this gorgeous fabric comes in a handful of other styles: a shorter dress, a button up shirt, a blouse and a skirt! I *love* a good black floral print, and I had to stop myself from getting more than one item in this fabric.

Hello! Do you feel like the white Madewell jeans for tts?
I do! I have them in my usual 27 and they are great, not too tight, which I prefer in white denim.
Both of those Sezane pieces are so prettY, love how the boots look with the dress!
Thank you!! I feel like I need courage to wear that dress, but I definitely want to soon!
OMG! Love the hair, like, so much
Have read for years and never commented, but have to tell you that your hair looks amazing (and would love to know your styling tricks!)
Wow, this comment really made my day! Thank you so much!! It has taken me the better part of a week to figure out how to style it… but basically a little bit of curling wand (curling iron makes it go too flat) and straightening the ends! So grateful to have you around here for years.
Love the dress and your hair! Thanks for clarifying that you don’t always look this put together!
