Clogs on Parade + Some Fun Stuff

Wow, I seem to have forgotten to take photos of my outfits in the last week! Maybe that’s what happens when you’re busy having fun? (Not that it’s all been fun, but more like 80% work / 20% fun, but I digress.)

That means this week’s outfits are going to be shared through a mix of proper outfit photos and some lifestyle photos. I hope you enjoy!

Last weekend, I traveled down to Eugene for my high school reunion (20th, postponed by one year). I was part of our class leadership team, so the duty falls to me and the other officers to plan these events. I wish I could say planning is fun for me, but I often end up stressed out! Thankfully, we had a friend who lives locally and really came through and helped pull it off.

I hemmed and hawed over what to wear and ultimately landed on this semi-casual look and loved it! Please note my adorable, longtime friend Joni, who is now a luxury travel advisor.

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Smock Dress (M), c/o
Lyra Band Sandal (10), c/o

The next day, hubby and I roamed around town a bit before collecting our kids, including touring our alma mater (we both went to the University of Oregon, but didn’t know each other, despite being in the same program!) and going out to brunch.

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Tank (S)
Sunglasses
Hollow Hoops (these are my most-worn pair!)
Necklace

Back home and off to a work appointment, so I opted for my no-fail dress plus these SUPER COOL monochrome clogs from Bryr! They just launched this ultra cool blackout line up and I am so into it. This pair features their worker heel which is lower and wider. They are incredibly comfortable!

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Dress, out of stock, linked to similar
Worker Slide (11), c/o Bryr
System Tote, c/o Cuyana

On Tuesday night, we were extremely fortunate to get to see a favorite band play at a local venue. We took our kids to see Head and the Heart at McMenamin’s Edgefield and it was AMAZING!! I can’t stop thinking about it. Since we were really limited on what we could bring in, I opted to go sans purse, so I wore my older smock dress, which happens to have large pockets. It was perfect for the heat and the concert-y vibe. I neglected to get a photo, but I’ll let you know I wore my favorite dad sandals with it! (Similar here.)

Another work-ish outfit, though decidedly casual. (I was trying to navigate near 100 degree temperatures!)

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Ribbed Tee, c/o
Pants, Only Child, no longer available :( For a similar-shaped leg, try these.
Worker Slide (11), c/o Bryr
System Tote, c/o Cuyana

And the last one of the week: I quite like the way these clogs look with shorts!

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Tank (S)
Shorts, a few years old, linked to similar
Worker Slide (11), c/o Bryr
System Tote, c/o Cuyana

  1. I knew I saw you at the concert! My husband and I were there visiting from CA to see The Head and the Heart too! Such an amazing, amazing concert at one of our favorite venues. Next time I’ll get the courage to say hello 😊
