This week, I had the exciting opportunity to partner with a longtime favorite brand of mine – Cuyana. They asked me to create some sponsored content for Instagram that I had a lot of fun creating. (See the Reel here!) It was truly an honor to be invited to work with a company I’ve shopped and admired for the better part of seven years!
Just for fun, I decided to share a little bit on the blog too. This post is *not* sponsored, but this bag – the System Tote – was gifted for the IG collaboration I mentioned. I thought you guys would be interested in learning a little bit more about Cuyana’s System Tote family – it’s a pretty cool set up.
The tote comes in two sizes: 13″ and 16″, and it’s designed with functional use in mind. Think: carrying a laptop to and from work (or on an out of town trip if you WFH), and organizing the interior space with additional add-on compartments.

I have the 13″ System Tote in Light Stone, which is a lovely, warm gray. The accessories I have for my tote include:
The System Laptop Sleeve – which can hold a computer and acts as a bag divider.
The System Flap Bag – which is used as an interior pouch with a magnetic closure, and can be removed and worn as its own crossbody bag.
The Adjustable Strap – which makes the bag wearable in crossbody style. I also like the additional interest it lends when carrying the bag as a tote on my shoulder.
I use mine mostly without the laptop sleeve because I don’t carry around my computer much (and it’s bigger than 13″). I also prefer a little less structure and a little more slouch to my bag. The System Flap Bag has come in handy big time! It makes a chic little crossbody bag. Think: belt bag size, but very luxe materials. This set would come in super handy while traveling because you can store all your goods in the tote and then pop out the flap bag when you want something small and hands free.

How it influences my style.
No surprise here, but I am a pretty casual gal. I live in the PNW, and lead a casual, family-focused lifestyle. So I am always looking for a way to ‘class up’ my outfits while still feeling appropriately casual. Think: sneakers and blazers, nice sweaters and distressed jeans, etc. This tote feels luxurious and plays right into my wardrobe strategy by helping all my beloved casual items look a little more polished and pulled together.

AND… that’s not all. I just saw that Cuyana launched a Mini System Tote!! I love a small bag with top handles (and whyyyy are they so hard to find?!). This cute little number just jumped on my wish list for for fall. I think it would be perfect in Caramel. But if you’re in the market for a small bag sooner than later the Ecru is *chefs kiss* good. Please note the wide crossbody strap, which lends a comfy, almost sporty vibe to this bag. Can you see why I adore it?
