This year, I decided to combine most of my gift guides into one, distilled list of the best stuff. I thought it would be simpler to have it all in one place, rather than spread between multiple blog posts (unless you’re shopping for a tween!).
These are the favorites of the favorites, hand-picked from brands I love and from my real life. I hope this holiday gift guide helps and inspires your shopping for your loved ones (and maybe for you too!).
1. Knits for Good Oatmeal Sweater – This one is on my personal Christmas list right now because I love the cropped, puffy sleeve shape and the fact that it’s 100% wool. Even better, the proceeds of this sweater go to support two excellent causes.
2. Convertible Chunky Sweater – I recently got this sweater as a gift from the brand for our long term partnership (with no obligation to post!) and I immediately loved it. It’s made from soft cotton (in NYC) and has a slouchy, cropped fit. But it can be worn three ways! (The neck is removable.) This would be a great one for a sister or close friend.
3. Goldeluxe Jewelry Reverie Hoop Earrings – I love the texture of these brass and goldfil earrings. These are sold by Madewell in partnership with a small USA-made brand. Super cool.
4. Oversized Alpaca Sweater – This is a very giftable sweater, extremely versatile, comfy to wear and has an approachable price point. It comes in lots of colors too!
5. Cashmere Scarf – The ultimate Christmas gift! Soft, luxurious and warm. I love this color.
6. Cashmere Rib Beanie – A simple, unbranded beanie is so hard to find! I love this one because of the beautiful, flecked yarn.
7. Donegal Crew Neck Sweater – This is the ultimate guy sweater. I wish you could see the detail in my graphic, so click the link for a close up. It’s a beautiful, donegal merino wool sweater. It reminds me of the ones I lusted after in high school. Might buy it for my husband for Christmas so I can borrow it from his closet.
8. Mill Shirt in Black & Ivory Tartan – Another classic piece from Alex Mill. I love what I am seeing from this brand right now, it reminds me of old school J.Crew.
9. Sherpa Shirt Jacket – Recycled polyester at its coolest and warmest. Another one worth considering sharing with your partner.
10. Graphic Tee – I love including this Portland-based brand whenever I can. This tee is hand-picked by Mr. Season.
11. Floral & Corduroy Hat – This nostalgia-inducing hat is for the visually creative person in your life. Made in Brooklyn, NY.
12. 200 Women (who will change the way you see) – 200 Women from different backgrounds were asked the same five questions, find empowerment and strength in their answers.
13. Two Tiered Jewelry Tray – A powerful woman needs to rest her jewelry someplace!
14. Leather Jewelry Travel Case – A great idea for someone who takes frequent trips.
15. The Gin Kit – Who knew gin was made from vodka? Not this girl. And who knew you could do it at home? And make delicious gin to boot. Love this idea and that this kit is made in the USA.
16. Ember Mug – A true ‘smart mug’ that keeps your coffee hot. I think this is at the top of Mr. Season’s list.
17. Wireless Charger & UV Cleaner – Take care of the neat freak and germaphobe on your list with one gift. I use those as terms of endearment.
18. Waffle Robe in Turkish Cotton – This might just be at the top of my list. I love everything from this brand and the color of this robe is gorgeous.
19. Fleece Scrunchie Set – I use a headband and a scrunchie every single night when getting ready for bed. This set would make a great stocking-stuffer.
20. Stoneware Trivet – This is the first trivet I’ve ever seen that I actually like. It’s beautiful. Made in Brooklyn, NY.
21. Spoon Rest – A chic and functional accessory for the kitchen. I need this one. Made in the USA.
22. Salt Cellar – Perfect for the foodie in your life, maybe include a selection of finishing salt with it!
23. Keep Cup – This is hands-down the best to-go coffee cup I have ever used! I call it ‘to-go’ as a reminder to take it with me when I want to get a latte or coffee out. It’s lightweight, easy to hold and keeps your coffee hot, but not as scorching as a metal tumbler. Fair warning, I have dropped one before and it was not pretty, so use carefully.
24. Ribbed Lounge Set – AKA: amazing pajamas. I have these pants and I rotate between them and my Lett joggers every night at bedtime! Or even after dinner when I’m ready for my ‘cozies.’
25. Heated Throw – This sherpa and fleece blanket comes in seven colors and is an excellent universal gift idea.
26. Electric Kettle – I shared this last year and it’s worth repeating. We have this exact kettle and we use it every single day for our French press coffee. I love that you can control the temperature down to the degree and that it’s pretty enough to leave on your counter 24/7. It comes in a few different colors now!
27. Large Wood Serving Bowl – Beautiful and functional. Any entertainers or hosts on your shopping list? This bowl is great for a large salad, or as a table centerpiece between gatherings.
28. Linen Napkins – Essential and good for the environment. Made with high grade European flax linen.
29. Plant Jigsaw Puzzle – 1000 Pieces of houseplants. A fun gift for the horticulturist on your list.
30. Hand Thrown Ceramic Planter – Perfect for small plants or big succulents. This smart pot is made with a special finish that helps release extra water as needed. Made in the USA.
31. P.F. Candle Co – These candles have the most beautiful and unique fragrances. And they look gorgeous in a ‘shelfie.’
32 & 33. Zanzibar w/Mid Century Pot – If you’re looking for a great all-in-one gift, these planters come with plants in them! You can choose from small or medium.
