Is anyone else feeling particularly lured in by the idea of an oversized trench coat? I’m hoping for good thrift store luck, but if not, this one comes awfully close to the one in my mind’s eye.
I loved Lee Vosburgh’s spotlight on blazers almost as much as I love blazers! This one is currently in my cart.
Dangit, Emma Hill makes trousers look so good.
Do you want to influence knitwear styles for the fall? L’Envers has an open survey and I voted for all the cropped options.
I recently started working with a website called The Lobby. They sent some pieces and asked for video reviews. I *love* the curation of brands on their website, many indie, and sustainable designers. And very, very cool garments. If you scroll through the influencers you should be able to find me! (Oh, and use ANDREA15 to save 15% on your first order.)
I’ve seen a few of these masks around town and they are super cute. Also, I’m thinking about ordering these scrunchies just to wear on my wrist. Don’t judge.
This fall I want to add some stellar wide-leg jeans to my wardrobe. I am intrigued by this one from Madewell. BUT these relaxed carpenter jeans are giving me all the feels.
Silver jewelry seems to be having a moment right now and I’m kind of into it! I really like the idea of this style in silver as well as these hoops. Use code SEA&SALT to save 15%.
Sometimes I think about the next phase of life after my kids leave the nest. I have no idea what comes next for me, but I am so inspired by these major accomplishments by three women later in life.
I’ve mentioned a few times that the Holy Post is my favorite podcast – the hosts are funny, irreverent, and tackle all the topics I am interested in. This week’s episode on ‘Faith Deconstruction’ was particularly good. In the first half of the podcast (pre-interview) the hosts talked about ‘the war on culture’ perspective of many in the church, and I thought they had a lot of smart things to say.
Oftentimes, home renovation project shares are major before and afters. However, many of us want to make tweaks, and not necessarily do overhauls. I’m bookmarking this post tackling common bathroom and kitchen woes because I know I’ll be referencing it in the future!
I hope you have a great weekend friends!

Ok – LOL – when you said “later in life”, I wondered what is considered “later in life”? I guess I don’t really think of 50s/60s as “later in life” – and our language still reflects the ageism that is one of the last “isms” to be challenged. Bill Maher did a great rant on this a few weeks ago using Joe Biden and all the stupidity around his age as an example.
I don’t disagree with on ageism in our language. But perhaps we need to shift our view of being older away from being a negative thing. I will concede that ‘later in life’ is a relative term depending on how old a person is, but being in one’s upper years isn’t an inherently bad thing!
