On Tuesday my family gathered behind my desk and we watched a livestream of the reading of the Derek Chauvin verdict. It was tense, uncomfortable and a relief all at the same time. I’ve been reading reactions to the verdict all week and this one by theologian Dennis Edwards stuck out to me the most – The Derek Chauvin Verdict Is Good. But I’m Still Groaning.
