The beautiful spring releases keep coming, and after a long winter, I can’t get enough. Sotela recently released their Desierto collection (pictured above) and it’s stunning. My favorites are the Oasis Dress in Agave and the Lena Pants in Gingham.
I love Jamie Lee’s timeless approach to personal style, it always inspires me to return my focus to what serves me best and what I like the most in my closet.
Speaking of timeless, I am smitten over this linen shift dress (after seeing it featured here) and trying to decide if I have the courage to pull it off.
A brown floral blouse is on my list for spring, and this one might fit the bill.
My friend Elaine is reviewing Agolde’s 90’s jeans (that she bought from me!). I love her honest reviews, which are just as good as her expert styling!
The Case for Getting Dressed Up to See Your Gyno. This article is not what I expected it to be, and I loved every word of it. Especially the part about romanticizing bygone eras where people dressed up for everything.
I’m borrowing notes from this post on how to style blazers casually.
Sephora’s Beauty Insider’s sale is currently underway and I have two things on my list: a non-tinted daily SPF and a vitamin C serum. I was thinking of trying the Supergoop formula that combines both until I read Lee’s post. Now I am seriously thinking about trying the Drunk Elephant vitamin C serum and waiting on the SPF. (Don’t worry, I use tinted SPF each day!)
These dairy free banana chocolate chips cookies sound amazing, I think I need to try them out ASAP.
I hope you guys are having a lovely weekend!
Hi Andrea! Thanks for the mention about my Agolde Reviews. And thanks for selling me your jeans. I’m on a mom jeans/oversized jeans kick now :)
It’s been so fun to watch you embrace this style!
I am very much a lurker and rarely comment (even though I read your blog all the time!), but just want to chime in after reading your post and Lee’s, and add additional praise for Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. In the past, I had a lot of trouble with being diligent about sunscreen application but this stuff just makes it so easy – pleasurable, even! So smooth and velvety. I have fairly finicky skin (and am notoriously fickle with regards to skincare products) and I’ve had zero issues with it and have re-purchased multiple times! Also, especially loved your last few jean-centric outfits, especially the one with the olive tee. Something about the color/distressed denim/gold jewelry combo was A+ for me!
Hi Sarah!
I always love it when people de-lurk. ;) Thanks for weighing in! I allllmost went for the unseen screen but I read some reviewers saying it was a bit matte, so I ended up going for the glow screen. Will be using it today, and will report back. Thank you re:the outfit. I super loved that one too! The details are always where it’s at for me!!
