the Weekly Rundown: A Few Good Sales + My Two Latest Obsessions

Evan Dress by REIFhaus, part of their online sample sale.

Happy weekend friends!

There are a few good sales going on this weekend that I wanted to let you know about. Madewell is having a big inventory, not-so-secret sale. There are some really cute jeans, sweaters, and boots, but very few sizes.

REIFhaus currently has their sample sale underway, and so does Zou Xou! It’s a great opportunity to support small brands without busting your budget.

A few new items at Everlane worth noting: they just dropped some new colors of the Italian Merino Turtleneck. This item has been the absolute hero of my wardrobe since fall. I have it in two colors and wear them at least once per week. The latest release includes a beautiful oat color! And yesterday I shared about the easy cord pant, definitely recommend these ones!! (They run true to size.)

To all my Portland people, Emily Henderson is moving to town! Super excited to follow along with this home renovation.

This banana chocolate mug cake sounds amazing.

My airfryer obsession continues. I made these chicken ‘nuggets’ for lunch one day last week (the lemon pepper ones) and they were amazing!

My other obsession this week continues: trying to grapple with and understand how evangelicalism, and perhaps the American church’s lack of confronting racism has lead to what happened in our nation’s capitol. This week I listened to the latest episode of the Holy Post, which covered this topic with some insights that are still lingering in my mind. And I read this column entitled: Trump Ignites a War Within the Church.
