Last month Our Place sent us these beautiful, vintage-inspired drinking glasses and my whole family loves them! They remind me of the ones I see at the thrift store, green or smoke-hued, but these are not scratched and come in a full set! Using the orange ones makes me smile everytime.

‘How to Be Pro-Life in Our Real Lives.’ This is a call to resist the urge to ‘tune out’ of our divided society and ‘tune in’ to our immediate communities. Embracing a pro-life mindset opens our eyes to needs almost everywhere we look, especially during this time of pandemic and economic downturn.
Beth Moore is making waves in the evangelical community with her condemnation of ‘Trumpism.’ She is one of few faith leaders in evangelical circles to do so.
Chubby pets: an unexpected pandemic side effect.
Everlane is currently hosting FREE express shipping. I ordered a pair of white jeans and this tan sweater I have been eyeing. The offer ends soon, tonight I think!
I love this outfit so much! I would never think to pair these textures and now I’m inspired.
My go-to jeans are on super sale: $55.99! I particularly love this wash because it goes with everything.
These superbrushed sweatpants look extra soft. I love that they’re made from Tencel and recycled polyester.
Emma Hill’s personal style rules are an excellent launchpad for examining how you want to dress.
A strong case for dressing for yourself, and not anyone else, including strangers on the internet. I love the focus on cultivating instinctual views of what you like and honing your inner confidence.
Holiday cookie crush: these delicious-looking chocolate peanut butter ones just jumped on my short list!
Naughty but nice Christmas cocktail anyone? Might have to make these to go with my cookies.
Hi Andrea, I just wanted to comment on your bravery for including a link to a pro-life article in this post. I am Catholic and am also pro-life (whole life, that is, from conception to natural death). It was really good to see a woman in an online space such as yours include this. I had noticed that you were mentioning and linking to more Christian articles/sources lately and it has been nice to see. Sometimes in certain circles it is hard to ‘come out’ as a committed Christian. At least, that has been my experience. Christians and Catholics have a certain reputation… some of it well-deserved, for sure. I love that you are showing that not all of us fit the negative stereotypes that are out there, though I do understand why those stereotypes exist. Anyway, thank you again. Wishing you and your family the peace that surpasses all understanding this Christmas season.
Hi Monica, thank you for your support, and such a thoughtful, insightful comment.
Hi Andrea — I’ll offer a counter to the first comment. I found the pro-life article extremely upsetting. I’m a mother who several weeks ago unexpectedly had to end a very much wanted pregnancy based on a severe abnormality found at our 12 week ultrasound, one that was not compatible with life. It’s been a harrowing experience and I can assure you that, while the medically indicated d&c was technically an abortion, nothing about this was “throwaway” to me. I’m familiar with the author profiled in the article having seen his writings in NYT and elsewhere. Coming across this on a style blog while seeking a respite from my grief reopened a deep wound. I won’t be reading here anymore.
Hi Caitlin, I am so sorry, that sounds like a harrowing experience. :( I am deeply sorry to cause further distress with the article I shared. I can see how that article would be distressing for you. My hope was to point folks toward thinking about caring for people in all aspects of life, particularly those on the fringes, not cause any harm. Again, I am deeply sorry.
