the Weekly Rundown: Let’s Go to London + Paint the House Bold

Mr. Seasons and I circa 2008. Our last big travel was so long ago I had to take a picture of a picture 😳

Lately, as I’ve missed travel and adventure in my life, I’ve found comfort in reading travel blogs or other people’s posts about past trips. The other day I came across this post about 5 days in London, and I really enjoyed it. It recapped some spots we visited when we were there, and made me realize more places I want to see. And, I think I liked it because season 4 of The Crown is still living in my head a bit.

Want an easy, foolproof method for going bold and colorful in your home decor and paint choices? This post has some excellent advice.

I recently decided I needed some (non-workout) leggings in my life. I guess I’m all aboard the comfort-wear train right now! Lucky for, me two brands I really like recently came out with their own take. High-waisted and made in Portland, and ribbed with a slight cigarette fit. Which ones would you get??

My friend Jamie-Lee is a master at neutrals, I love her 15 late fall/early winter outfit ideas. I think #2 and #3 are my favs!

I am really into this feisty cardigan. It would be cute with these pants. (Can you tell comfort-pants are on my mind??) Maybe finish the look with these cozy-posh slippers.

The other day my husband made me watch this video about why watching the news is a bad idea… put together by a journalist. As a former TV journalist, this has really sat with me. It’s makes some points that are really hard to argue with!

And finally, I leave you with this most uplifting write up about ‘Why Everything You Know About the Nativity is Probably Wrong.’ This one left me with goosebumps on my arms and tears in my eyes. I hope you enjoy it!

xx,
Andrea
