Gift Guide #2 – The Adventurer

Welcome back to installment number two of my holiday gift guide series. This list was especially enjoyable to put together because I spent all my time brainstorming how to HAVE FUN. I crafted ‘The ‘Adventurer’ Gift Guide with exactly that in mind. I hope you enjoy adventuring through this list and you find some ideas that make your holiday shopping a little easier!

1 – AT HOME MURDER MYSTERY NIGHT Need an adventure in your own home? This one seems like a really fun way to spend NYE with your older kids, or close (quarantine bubble) friends. I also like how it takes all the work out of the setup!

2 – CORNHOLE SET If you’re not crafty enough to make your own (I know so many who are!), this regulation-size set has you covered. I love the simple design, and this is one of the best prices I’ve seen for a set. Cornhole is my very favorite summer game to play! Goes well with microbrews and camping! But maybe we need to try it out with hot chocolate and hand warmers.

3 – YETI WINE TUMBLERS We have a couple of wine tumblers and I love them for outdoor wine drinking (or a cocktail!). They keep drinks cold in the summer and help red wine not get too cold in the winter. Side note: YETI makes the best quality I’ve seen of metal cups and containers.

4 – ACRYLIC WATCH HAT Four out of five of us in our family have these hats and we love them. Super comfy, flattering, and the tags say made in the USA.

5 – ‘WHISKEY WILL DO’ TEE This iconic Portland-designed tee felt fitting to add to the list! Both my husband and I have t-shirts from this brand and we love the soft feel of them.

6 – ULTRA LIGHT HIP PACK I love wearing little fanny packs like these when I want to be hands-free on the go, particularly for long walks or hikes. I like that this one has a little padding on the backside!

7 – POLAROID CAMERATake your memories and moments from digital to analog. This instant camera has full manual control and Bluetooth capabilities. And of course a self-timer. It could make a perfect present for a teen or tween on your list.

8 – PATAGONIA MICROFLEECE PULLOVER I included this because I think it’s a great layering piece at a really good price point. Could be a great option for a husband, dad, or brother on your list.

9 – PATAGONIA WOMEN’S RETRO PULLOVER If I was shopping for myself, I’d probably buy this! I love the color, the pockets, and the boxy fit. The warmth factor of Patagonia fleeces is hard to beat!

10 – SUSTAINABLE WOOL SOCKSThese are made in the USA with over 50% recycled materials.

11 – OLD SCHOOL THERMOSMake hikes a little warmer with hot chocolate or coffee to go! We recently got one of these and the kids enjoyed hot cider after a long, chilly hike a few weeks ago. It made our adventure a little more fun than they expected!

12 – ON-THE-GO BAGEasy and cute, and available in five colors. Made from 7.3 renewed plastic bottles.

There you have it, a few more ideas for your Christmas or holiday shopping. You can check out my ‘Homebody’ list here, and I’ll share my final list next week!

  1. Love these suggestions! The Whiskey Will Do t-shirt is perfect for many people I know – particularly this year!
