I don’t usually consider myself a trend follower, but I am always fascinated by styles that tend to dominate the clothing scene. It sounds like plaid and this shade of green will be big in the fall.
Babydoll tees are definitely having a moment right now, and I am INTO it. Vetta just released this one, and I love the hemline!
Do you have a personal collection of reusable masks yet? Our county just moved to a mask-mandate. Here is a great mask marketplace if you’re on the hunt!
My very favorite fanny pack right now, that I can’t wait to start wearing when I leave the house more.
Any protein hounds out there? I made this protein pancake for breakfast yesterday and today, and it was delicious!
When I am done with the Tighter Together challenge, I fully intend to make these muffins!
Did you guys see that Yale has an open course on Black history, that anyone can take online? Sometimes I miss learning in a collegiate setting, this seems like a great opportunity.
This week I listened to a podcast with Brené Brown and Ibram X. Kendi, and it was an insightful interview with the author of How to Be an Antiracist and a look at how we truly define racism, and how it doesn’t really work to be lukewarm on the topic.
The Daily had an excellent podcast on the significance of the the Juneteenth holiday. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for in-depth info on the topic.
How did Christianity and one political party get so entangled? I read an article on the topic this week and it is sitting with me.
And finally, from Christianity Today: The Anti-Racist Curriculum White Evangelicals Need. The heart of this post is so good, and the resources are fantastic. This might be a good one to share with friends who want to start on their learning journey but don’t know where to begin.
Oooh I’m excited to look into the Yale course! If you liked the Brene Brown episode you may also like the Armchair Expert episode with Dr. Kendi :)
Ooo, I love Armchair Expert, I will definitely check that one out!! Thanks!
