Last week Vetta released their all-new Elegant Capsule and they invited me to try a few styles to share with you guys! To see the video, head over to my IGTV channel, and for photos and outfit details, keep reading!
I’ve been partnering with Vetta on their capsule launches since 2017. I love the brand’s commitment to sustainability and versatility, it’s virtually unmatched by other brands.
Sometimes Vetta’s capsules can feel too dressy or corporate for my casual lifestyle. But this time, I feel I hit the jackpot with these two items from the Elegant Capsule! I chose the Lace Button Up Blouse and the Square Neck Midi Dress and they both exceeded my expectations! Read on to find out why.
The Lace Button Up Blouse
This shirt is everything I’ve been looking for for the last few years! I’ve bought a couple of similar ones from other brands, but neither of them come close to this one, because it’s beautiful AND durable. Too often, shirts in this style won’t hold up in the wash and the fabric is too thin and delicate. This top is 100% organic cotton, has a little more weight, and is substantial enough that you don’t need an undershirt!
It’s also quite versatile because you can wear it with buttons and a v-neck in the front or as pictured above. I also really appreciate that this shirt is feminine, but not *too* frilly. There are no puffs on the shoulders and no ruffless in sight. It’s a beautifully minimal take on a ‘romantic style’ top. I’ve already worn this one a few times in the short time I’ve had it.
Below you can see how it looks with the ‘v’ in the front. I forgot to take a picture showing the ‘v’ in the back, but I did include it in my IGTV video if you’d like to take a peek. I will say the ‘v’ in the back is a beautiful, understated, sexy detail.

The Square Neck Midi Dress
One of the reasons I often skip dresses on colder days is because they usually have short sleeves! I’ve long been on the hunt for a long-sleeved dress that wasn’t all black. I was thrilled when I saw that this dress had long sleeves AND came in an everyday-friendly material: 100% cotton! (Organic cotton to boot.)
This dress comes with a tie, but I found the waist is already cinched enough for me, so I didn’t need it. It’s also reversible, which means the buttons can go in the back or the front. The neckline is the same on both sides.
As soon as this dress arrived I started styling it, which is always a good sign! I knew immediately I wanted to try it in several different looks, which came together very easily.

Wow! I love both of these pieces immediately and that’s unusual for me…I wondered if you could comment on the sizing on the blouse, how it would look sized up? They’re both really pretty and unique pieces.
Hi Rebecca! Great question about the blouse. I wonder if a size up might be too ‘open’ feeling at the neck? I feel like this top runs pretty true to size, with room.
The dress is so pretty. Very Doen. Is it comfortable?
Yes, but I haven’t worn it extensively yet. The cotton is quite soft, it has soft of a poplin fabric feel, so it’s more structured than drapey. Will probably get softer with wash and wear. I like that the dress is shaped, but not tight. If I wanted it more snug I could use the tie to add even more shape. Hope that helps Annie!
