I did it! I finally pulled together a #stickofcinnamon look and I love it!! This is one of my favorite colors to wear, and I’ve forever wanted to wear it on top and bottom. I suppose for a true #stickofcinnamon vibe, I could have gone with brown boots too!
Today wraps up four days of styling this sweater on the blog, and I’ve enjoyed every moment. A mini style challenge is a great way to see how a new item might potentially fit in your wardrobe. Sometimes, when I’m considering a big investment piece, I try to see if I can quickly, mentally build a few outfits. If I can easily do it, that is usually a good sign that the item will integrate well into my wardrobe. If I have to think hard, and immediately think of what else I need to buy to make it work, then I realize I might need to spend some more time considering whether it’s a good purchase or not.
In case you missed it, on Tuesday I styled this sweater with platform boots, on Wednesday I wore it with my favorite sassy accessories, and Thursday I created a pre-spring outfit. Next week, you can catch me on IGTV styling this sweater for spring. I think I might be even more excited for those outfits than I was for the winter ones!
Styling Notes.
These pants are an interesting, recent, addition to my wardrobe. They’re the Slim Emmets from Madewell. After trying many styles, I’d say these are the closest I’ve seen to Kamm Pants, except these are actually comfortable!
I love the way this oatmeal sweater plays into the warm palette of this outfit. This oatmeal color is one of my most beloved neutral shades, no cool neutrals around here! The soft shape is a nice contrast to the straight lines of the pants and masculine touch of the fully-buttoned top. I love how easily this sweater takes any outfit and makes it several degrees warmer.

Love the cinnamon stick idea! Although I think the stick of butter look it so chic that color looks terrible on me haha. This one I could definitely try out! Thanks for sharing. xx, Kaylee
It sure helps to know which colors do and do not work! Have fun with your stick of cinnamon styling!
