The simple gold cuff (made from yellow bronze) has been bringing an extra bit of sparkle to my outfits this fall. It was gifted by my friend Lauren, the talent behind Portland-based L.Greenwalt Jewelry (formerly Loop Jewelry) and I can’t say enough good things about it (or her!). You can use the code SEASONS15 to save 15% if you make a purchase from her shop.
Another Portland favorite, Reifhaus, has released their Autumn/Winter collection and the color palette is stunning! Turmeric, deep aubergine, and olive, just to name a few!
Bored with your neutral closet? Try dying your clothing. I love this post about slow, natural-dying processes and all the enviro-related tips about laundry!
I’ve been all about my canvas tote bag lately, it’s easy to fit a lot and it doesn’t feel too serious. But THIS is for sure the coolest tote bag I’ve seen lately.
You don’t have to live in a big space to decorate well. This tiny Brooklyn apartment epitomizes that. All the little choices add up.
Absolutely swooning over this open-concept kitchen remodel. I love the lack of upper cabinets (a trend I’m seeing more and more) and the wall of vertical tiles.
I feel the urge to do all things fall-related in the kitchen this weekend. These cinnamon scones look amazing. Yesterday I made my go-to pot roast recipe that I’ve used for years.
How to compliment someone without mentioning their looks. This is especially important for those of us raising girls.
I hope your weekend is a restful one!
Love the last link on giving compliments beyond looks. I’m guilty of it myself sometimes – my girls like dressing up (and dress themselves 100% of the time) and I do give them compliments on it. What a good reminder to put more focus on giving positive comments/acknowledgement beyond what they are wearing, so important.
SAME Piper, same. Glad you can relate. I think it’s a great reminder too.
I totes need to make some pot roast!!!
Yes, and you guys could probably eat it for like 3 days!!
