[76-80/99] Suitcase Life

My outfits have been pretty uninspired lately. We’ve been on the road for nearly 3 weeks and are currently staying at our fifth stop. Living out of a suitcase is hard, and my outfits lately have been reflecting that. You win some, and you loose some, right?

No photo, spent the day doing yard work in exercise clothes, and then showered and back to jammies so I could watch college football. That’s how every weekend should be, right?

I love this combo! These are some of my favorite colors to wear together. These pants have been faithful friends in my closet for almost three years.

Today was a multi-outfit day. It was chilly in the morning and I was eager to try out my link-stitch sweater from Everlane. I was totally influenced to buy it after I saw three people I follow on Instagram wearing it. I wore it two days in a row, and I really like it BUT, it is easily snagged, FYI.

A.
Link-Stitch Crewneck Sweater (L), Everlane
Cotton Crew Tee (M), Everlane
Jeans, Mother Denim (28)
Birkenstocks

B.
Cotton Crew Tee (M), Everlane

This was the first day of school for all three of my kids, and at this point I’m basically grabbing whatever is at the top of my suitcase! Was trying to beat the sunset when I took this photo.

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Tee, Paloma Wool (sold out)
Jeans, Vintage Levi’s (501) (similar in a high rise)
Birkenstocks
Fisherman Tote, Esby (this color sold out, love this option)

Isn’t this porch/yard/house beautiful? We are staying at my aunt and uncle’s until we close on our house. I’m so grateful they also live in Portland, and not terribly far away from our part of town. My husband and I used to dream about owning a craftsman house, they’re so beautiful! But after six years of owning a home built in 1908, I think we’re happy that our next home purchase will be a bit newer, read: midcentury!

I didn’t super love this outfit, but this is me trying harder. Still living out of a suitcase.

Vintage Tee, thrifted via The Yo! Store
Florence Pant (M, regular), Elizabeth Suzann
Lark Sandals, c/o Beek
The Day Mini Tote, c/o Everlane
