[31+32/99] the Uniform + More

Can you see my summer uniform developing?! I feel like I should insert a laughing emoji here. We’ve had pants-weather all month, and I’ve been rotating through all my favorite wide legs. Just add sandals and a denim jacket, and there’s my uniform. I’m totally okay with it, and I’m not bored yet.

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Distressed Denim Jacket (M), c/o ABLE
Striped Tank, (similar)
Wide Leg Chinos (6), c/o Everlane
Woven Sandal (10), Mohinders
Circle Bag, Baggu (similar, on sale)

Tonight I got to go to a fun launch dinner for Getaway House. Have you heard of them? They sound really cool. In a nutshell they have these hip, minimal cabins with huge picture windows that they put within a two-hour drive of major cities. Portland just got one in the Mount Adams area. It reminds me a bit of glamping. I think Mr. Seasons and I are going to check one out in the near future, I’ll keep you posted!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Linen Peasant Top, Muumuu
Cropped Flare Jeans, Reformation (similar)
Wedge Clogs, No.6 (similar)
Circle Bag, Baggu (similar, on sale)
Slice Hoops, c/o Baleen
Twist Midi Hoops c/o Mejuri
Medallion Necklace, Missoma

A FEW THINGS:

You guys, I’m so excited, I can hardly sit still long enough to put together this post. Tomorrow morning my two lovely cross-country BFFs are coming to hang out with me in Portland!! How lucky am I that they would get on a plane just to come hang out with me over the weekend?! I’ll be taking a break from the blog Friday – Sunday, but I’ll probably share a little bit on Instagram.

I wanted to let you know that Everlane is going to put their Day Totes on sale this Sunday. (The prices drop at 9pm PT on Saturday night, and go back up after 24 hours.) The Day Market Tote, the Day Square Tote, and the Day Magazine Tote will be $125, which is about $40-50 off the retail price.

I’m product testing some new moisturizers, c/o Eighteen B. I am really interested in them because of their b-silk protein formula, which is supposed to have great benefits for your skin. More to come on this one!

Zara made a pretty big sustainability commitment this week. It’s interesting to see major retailers taking note of consumer demands for better production. Hopefully, the momentum will continue!

That’s all for now, see you soon!
