I feel like I’ve been doing this series forever, but somehow I’m barely a quarter of the way through! Portland is having a very, very unusual summer. It’s been cool and gray for the better part of July which is pretty unheard of around these parts. So once again, I’m left trying to style looks for the odd weather.
Today was upper 60’s, low 70’s and rainy. But I opted for shorts anyway because I wanted to take these shorts for a spin. I got them a few weeks ago, but I kept mulling them over, trying to figure out how to wear them. They almost remind me of men’s boxer shorts, which I thought was weird at first, then I remembered the whole trend from the early 90’s, and then I loved it. I wrote about it on Instagram today and it was fun to see so many people recollect their experiences.
