Goodness gracious parenting in the summer is harder than I remember. Fielding house showings doesn’t help either.
I love my kids so much, and I look forward to summer all year, but there is an adjustment period that comes with starting summer. (I like to call it re-entry.) My kids are 9, 7 and 5, and some days they just take a lot of ‘managing’ aka, keeping them out of endless fights. Add to that trying to make my house spotless for showings (which I am very thankful there is a steady stream of) makes me feel like I am going to have a heart attack.
Thankfully I’ve found a bit of solace in the book I’m currently reading devouring: Where the Crawdads Sing. Reading a good novel in the summer is near the top of my list of very favorite things to do. If you’re reading anything good right now, do share!

TGIF friends!!
How tall are you to make these jeans this length? or did you trim them?
the model in the link looks so different – the jeans are so much shorter! I like them on you better!
Hi Kelly! I am 5’7 (or just shy of) and I did not trim them. I think we are going to see a return of full length, non-skinny jeans this fall and winter!
thank you for the reply! I keep hearing jeans are changing, it’ll be fun to have some options.
If you haven’t already read it, The Immortalists by Chloe Bejamin is great, and I also recently loved If, Then by Kate Hope Day (set in Pacific Northwest!)
Thank you Laura for the rec’s! I just put both of these on hold at the library!
I love the jeans! On Mother’s website they recommend sizing down. Do you find this is true?
I took my true size, but they definitely stretch out a lot, so you might want to!
