STYLE:
Fall is here. Give me all the puff-sleeve handknit sweaters please. And maybe a burgundy bag. Also, love this artisan tee.
Did you see the AW18 collection from REIFhaus? They debuted a new long sleeve jumpsuit, and it’s so good.
ETHICS IN FASHION:

‘Made in Italy’ on a clothing tag is usually synonymous for luxury and quality, but does it mean fairly-paid workers? The New York Times explores Italy’s shadow economy in the garment industry.

Greek Lentil Salad – Made this for dinner the other night, and I’m ready to make it again. Quickly becoming a lentil convert.
ON S+S:
This time last year I wrote a piece about sustainable periods, and you guys shared a wealth of information in the comments. It’s a topic I think many of us are interested in, but few of us open up about.
Next week on the blog I’ll be featuring some pieces from Only Child’s fall collection, along with an exclusive discount code. Stay tuned!
I love Only Child! I discovered them through you, and I would really love to expand my collection (double it, in fact, from one piece to two). Alta tips are just so low-fuss & classy! Thanks for introducing, Andrea!
Agreed, low-fuss and classy is a great way to describe their line! Really happy I could introduce you! :)
That long-sleeve jumpsuit is AMAZING. I already have the Lou in denim, and I might just have to get this one.
Also, that lentil salad looks delicious and simple. I’ve been looking to incorporate lentils into my lunches and this looks like an awesome way to do it.
Excited to see how you style the Only Child fall line! Also…I haven’t tried that greek lentil salad from Cookie and Kate, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything of hers! I almost exclusively cook her recipes now. Do you have her cookbook? If not, I highly recommend.
I DO!!! And I got my MIL to buy it too. We both love it! The kale slaw is my favvvvvvorite!
That’s really funny. I think I have cooked more than half the recipes in the book. The kale slaw is really good!! Some of my favorites are the minestrone soup (which I make a double batch of and freeze in mason jars), the kale caesar (surprisingly good!), roasted carrots with farro and lemon tahini dressing (so good!), the morrocan carrot and wild rice dish, the quinoa salad with the celery in it is amazing for lunches, the carrot cookies (which I also freeze), the basic pesto recipe (I do basil and almond combo) is better than anything I have had at a restaurant. The list really goes on and on. I feel like a rockstar in the kitchen every time I make her recipes.
You are a well of precious information! I really want to try this recipe, it sounds amazing and such a great idea for lunches too. You once shared a recipe of West African soup (with sweet potatoes, kale and peanuts among other delicious ingredients) and it has become one if my favourites! So thanks for introducing us to delirious recipes, it’s always great to have some novelty in the kitchen!
And, I’m very much looking forward to the Only Child post, I’ve had my eye on some of the new fall items, I’d love to see which ones you picked and how you styled them …so I’m very impatiently waiting!
