February is one of my favorite months, because it’s my birthday month, contains Valentine’s Day and is a prelude to spring. I know it can be unpopular to like Valentine’s Day (even my own husband is not a fan) but I like it because I think celebrating love is a great thing. But I definitely remember the Valentine’s Days of past that were not so amorous. It can be a tough holiday when you’re single, but only if you let it.
Instead of the typical Valentine’s gift guides, I decided to put together a ‘Treat Yo’self’ gift guide that highlights a few of my favorite small makers. No need to wait for someone special to buy you something. Instead, save your pennies, scout some wonderful small makers, and when the time is right, get yourself a little treat!
Most of these businesses are owned and run by women, and they are a great alternative to picking up another accessory from a big box store.
