As I am sitting here writing this, my lovely husband is making me dinner (after feeding the kids and putting them to bed), while simultaneously tidying up the kitchen. And, he’s whistling. My mother’s day has been lovely. I hope yours has been too. If you’re a mom, I hope your kids sang you a song, or made you technicolor cards, or maybe they phoned you from college just to say hi. If you’re lucky enough to live near your mom, I hope you got some face time with her, and I’m not talking about the kind that takes iPhones.
I’m not much of a promoter of ‘things’ on this blog, more a promoter or life + life experiences. However, that being said, these jeans are ridiculously on sale. If you live near an Urban Outfitters (they’re sold out online, but I saw some in the store just the other day), you should buy them so you can feel cool and pretend you’re a teenager again. It’s kind of fun. But this time without the acne and bad boyfriends. I’ll take dimply babies and cute husbands instead.
Happy Monday, xo.

ps- I’ll be back on Wednesday with a peek at my summer capsule shopping list.
Love the jeans. I’m all for distressed denim these days, especially with the frayed ankles. Glad you had a wonderful Mother’s Day…here’s to a good week as well!

Hi. I just popped by from Joshua’s minimalist site. Love it here. Will definitely be back!!!
Thanks Kelly! Glad to have you. :)
I just stumbled across your blog this evening and am so happy I did! I was a big fan of Caroline’s blog and was sad when she stopped blogging, but your blog will be my new inspiration for keeping up with my capsule wardrobe. I love your style and your family is adorable. :-) Have a great week!
Aw thanks, I think they’re pretty adorable too. You can do it! The benefits of a capsule wardrobe are endless! ;)
