the Weekly Rundown: Digital De-Cluttering and Reusable Kitchen Sponges(!)

Seasons and salt blog

Shoutout to my girl Leah for rounding up a list of 10 Ethical + Slow Living Bloggers to Follow, in which she included yours truly. If you haven’t taken the time to get to know these bloggers and writers, I highly recommend it. I have learned so much from the folks in this group.

Did you see the Vetta Minimal Capsule release? I am continually impressed by their timeless, chic designs. They truly make getting dressed look easy. The Reversible Jumper Dress is seriously tempting! It would look super cute over a cashmere sweater too.

A popular interior designer gets an impressive closet overhaul. I always love hearing about the style education of people who don’t typically write and share about clothes. This particular post has some great tips along the way.

Two things I always feel guilty about using and tossing are kitchen sponges and cotton rounds for my face. I recently discovered a company through my friend Cassidy of Life Simplified that makes reusable versions of both! Marleys Monsters makes and sells reusable kitchen sponges and cotton rounds – among many, many other awesome products that are alternatives to disposable. And a super cool piece of trivia – this business hails from my hometown, Eugene, Oregon!

Cait Flanders – the blogger who gave up consumerism and writes so beautifully about that and more – has an awesome guide about how to declutter your digital life in 10 steps. Many of us are keenly aware of our household or closet clutter, but digital clutter can stress us out just as much. I was so inspired I did step number 3 when I was in the middle of writing this post!

Last September on Seasons + Salt I was wearing a dress as a duster. This is one of my favorite outfits from last fall, and I can’t wait to repeat it soon!

Cheers to a relaxing rest of your weekend!

  1. I’m loving Vetta’s new capsule! It’s my favorite yet! Especially the cardigan/dress… they are always so innovative!
